LAX Parking

Dear SoCals,
I am going to LAX tomorrow for a 3 days trip. Want to go with the Karma. I read on LAX website you can park in parking garage 1 and 5. Since I am taking AA, I will use garage 5. Can anybody tell me how it works to park for free? I assume you take a ticket when you enter and then ask for free parking when you exit? Where are the chargers in garage 5?
Thank you!!

I don't know about LAX but at SFO you can charge for free if you have a ChargePoint card but you still have to pay for parking, its only the charging that is free and you have to have a ChargPoint card that you acquire through https://www.ChargePoint.net. I checked and I only see two free Chargepoint stations at LAX, one at LAX1 and one at LAX2. Both stations can handle two vehicles. Maybe they have other charging stations as well.
Ok, got the answer myself. ;-)
When you exit the parking you mention you have an electric car. They write down your driving license number and you exit free of charge. Unfortunately all chargers been occupied in P6 and this by far. There were other Leafs, BMWs and Volts around parking. They also could not get a place to charge. However I was the only with a good Karma!

Is this limited to LAX or do other airports support it also? I would love to park for free at SFO.

Saved me $90 for 3 days parking. However you can park up to 30 days for free at LAX!!!
The user interface for charging needs to change. It seems silly to me that a car can occupy a space for a day or more, but only charge for a couple of hours to at most 6 hours. I don't have the answer, but the current configuration underutilizes the charging stations.
