In The Netherlands there are already 40-45 Karma's on the road, and 50 more are arrving within a few weeks, plus another 60 on order. It's the only country after the US where deliveries have started on a larger scale (thanks to Fisker The Netherlands starting its own registration process). We also have a large community of 'spotters', young guys taking pictures of special cars they see on the street. They post them online, and the Karma's are not being overlooked.

I thought it would be a nice idea to show some of their pictures. They have already captures Karma's in all available colors (except Laguna, of which 77 cars will be produced in April and then no more). For potential buyers these pictures can give a good impression of how the colours compare.

Here's one which has turned out very well: Inferno

Here's Earth

Shadow (this car is parked at Schiphol Airport and was later that day used by Henrik Fisker and entourage)

Difficult to paint, but the end result is great: Deep Ocean

White Sand (which 3-4 years ago was said to be exclusive to Eco Chic, but fortunately no longer is. And neither is Earth anymore).

[hr]

Eclipse (the third picture is a funny one)

And finally Silver Wind (this is actually my own car. I was at the DIY-shop and when I came out I found this spotter, with whom I talked for a while about the car)

In the last picture you may notice the small 'Electric' sticker I put under EVer, to clarify to everyone what this car is all about.

More Karma-sightings in The Netherlands can be found here: http://www.autogespot.com/nl/viewcars.php?offset=1&type=Fisker

I am a little surprised that the "Hybrid Only" sign appears to be in English. Nice photos. I have been looking for pictures of Karmas in car spotter blogs in San Francisco, but no luck so far.
wait.. there is only going to be 77 Blue Laguna Karma's made?

Yes, exactly as many as the Aston Martin One-77

There are 77 people who placed an order for Laguna. The colour is so difficult to produce, the story goes, that so far no production car has been painted with that colour. All 77 cars will be built together (I believe in April) and after that the colour will be discontinued.
I just contacted my dealer to order one.. lets see if it goes up to 78 :)

just got confirmation that they are putting in my order and taking my deposit. haha
They're taking orders still for Laguna?

If they can paint 77 then they surely can also paint 78. They are probably more than happy to accept orders.

Disclaimer: the information that they will produce 77 cars and then discontinue the colour came from someone on this forum who heard it from his dealer. So no solid guarantee that the car will be extremely rare.

That was me ... just relaying what I heard from Fisker Salt Lake. I think it's more a case of, they just did not get that many orders for Laguna, and after all the issues with getting the paints to work they did not want to bother anymore. You can probably order any "unsold" (i.e., dealer stock) Laguna Karma. My order was actually a dealer-stock item they had already ordered earlier, and they just put my name on it. Just lucky for me they had ordered a Laguna/Black-Sand EcoSport already!

The official number from Fisker last week was that they have delivered 630 cars to customers worldwide. I believe the only countries where they have delivered customer cars are USA, Canada and Netherlands.

The other published number was that Fisker Automotive had sold over 1000 cars. That number would include dealer demos and cars that are on dealer lots, since Fisker Auto sells those cars to the dealers, and can recognize revenue once the car is delivered to the dealership.

Where did you get the sticker? i like it.

I ordered that sticker online (actually every letter is a sticker, and they can together be put on the car very easily). If I ordered one sticker I would have paid €15 (about $20). If I ordered 30 I would have paid €25 (about $35) in total! So that was an easy choice: I ordered 30, both in black and neon green.

On my Silver Wind the black turned out best, but on a darker coloured car green is the best choice. I still have pleny of stickers available and would love to send them free to any Karma-owner who wants one. Just send me a PM with your address and colour preference, and I'll send the sticker(s).

Here's the green sticker:

And here's the black one:

And here's an instruction video (the instructions are in Dutch, but even without that it's pretty obvious what to do. Just don't rush it when you pull off the paper, that's the key): http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=1E860Q0SVms

No I keep my deep ocean color for the moment. Good to hear yours is on its way. Let me know. I will come for a cup of coffee.
I got an update from my dealer, relaying info from their conference call with Fisker. The quote is now: "the 77 Laguna cars will start production the last week of May". So, the US-destined cars should arrive in July or so (which means mine might be here for my birthday, whee).
For me this is a 'goose bumps'-picture. Has anyone EVer seen so many different colours together? Clockwise Eclipse, Shadow, Earth, Inferno and White Sand. No, the green ones with 50 inch wheels do not count. ;)

These cars are on their way to the importer in The Netherlands. More pictures of these cars can be found here: http://www.autogespot.com/nl/fisker-karma/2012/04/13#img5

And more loaded trailers can be seen here: http://www.autogespot.com/nl/fisker-karma/2012/04/16#img1

I heard Fisker of The Netherlands is receiving 40 cars in just one week time, so things are really moving along. About 50 more have already been delivered to customers.

The 22'' wheels suddenly don't look all that big with the big tractor wheels behind them. :D
hopefully they will drop of an eclipse in denmark for me:)
