Karma's heater: how much kW?
Does anyone know how much kW is needed for heating the Karma? I can't find a technical specification for the Karma's heater anywhere. I read that in a Volt it can be up to 5 kW.
It's around 35 Fahenheit here so I am driving with the heating on, set at 75-78 Fahrenheit.
The car is averaging around 35 kW during my drives and it delivers 35 miles on a full battery, so when I can turn off the heating in spring and save 5 kW, that would make a substantial difference. That is, IF it is using 5 kW.
