Hey everyone,

I've mentioned it a few times in some threads, but I worked on the Fisker engineering team a couple of years ago. Since we didn't have a bona fide test team at the time, they asked employees to drive the cars around and test out new software releases before they were pushed out to you guys. I was an enthusiastic volunteer and put something north of 12k miles on a number of different Karmas. I took my GoPro along for a few of the rides and just finally got around to editing some footage together. Enjoy!

Nice vid. What happened at the every end with the burnout? Looks like a cord came in view and then the camera died?
I had an audio lead running to the external mic under the rear fascia, and I didn't strap it down securely. It got gnarled in the tire in all the excitement and jerked the GoPro down / broke the internal mic.

I'm liking the LED signal marquee at the beginning but would figure it going the opposite way would make more sense. Is that light assembly wired for a pattern input or did the final production just get a two-wire connection? Thanks for sharing.

I believe what you're seeing in the video is just a competition between the light output frequency and the framerate of the camera. Is "aliasing" the correct term? To the naked eye the DRL is continuously lit.

Oh Darn...like UFOs, all things have an explanation. I was actually hoping this was an intensional design they ended up scrapping. I did rather like the old 60s cougar and mustang tail lights that did that. They brought it back a few years ago in the mustang.
