Lots of bad news lately in Karma-land. Time to lift your spirits and knock out some of this negativity.

Photography is a hobby of mine. After speaking to this model (Ladina) about the Karma - I thought it would be interesting to do a test shoot with her and the car. It went well & I thought she has the right 'look' for the Karma - so now we're planning a little project.

BTW, does anybody know the load (weight) capacity of the Karma's solar roof? :)

Enjoy!

PS I learned something about the Karma today (in that last shot)...the front seats go almost completely flat. Nice feature. lol.

Awesome. Does she have a little sister? She's a little old for me :)

You know how I am partial to Rental Car and Airline employees. You snapping any of those???

Would like to talk this week...I'll give you a ring.

So you went with the melancholy and pensive look. I guess it fits the current situation.

If Sandy Eggo wanted the shoot to be accurate, the model would have her pimp in a Fisker golf shirt slapping her around and leaving her for dead (simulated only...as we do not promote any type or real violence here at the Buzz)

Haha...you made me laugh so hard with the reference to the Rental Car employee thing. Sorry everyone else, inside joke.

She's not that old, c'mon Gary! I made an "artistic" decision not to go too young on the model selection - wouldn't be as believable for the project we're working on with the Karma.

Paypal me some cash and I'll hire a 19 year old to shoot a private set for ya. lol.

Yah, that's her default mode (pensive). Again, we were just testing poses, colors, angles, light, wardrobe, etc. We have something much more special in the works.

What I can tell you all for now is that it is a short story/film...not a pimp slapping her around (thanks gmcole92!) but I hope you'll enjoy the final product nonetheless.

A very nice break from the "and now what" question. Great to remember what a hot car we've got. Love the red and blue color combo.

Does this answer your question about the load capacity of the Karma roof?

Don't take it at face value that the model was actually laying on top of a Karma. In fact, there is a very high chance she was photoshopped onto the top of that car. Having said that, I would imagine the Karma's roof could support the weight of a person of typical weight.

Pro-Tip: Don't let a girl with sand on her feet get on top of your Karma.

See where her feet are touching? The sand made a bajillion little hairline scratches on that strip of glass (or whatever it is) between the solar roof and rear window. Luckily, I have a killer polish/wax that I will try to buff it out with and report back.
