Is it in Fairfax and not Chantilly?[hr]pakman said:At the moment only 3 hrs in the evening (5-8pm on the 21st) set up for the show in Fairfax VA. Given the beltway mess, this not very good for those of us who live in MD (Ugh burn lots of gas and spend over an hour and a half in the commute just to get there), or who have kids in school. Why not the whole day or at least an afternoon and evening?
Xradman - Thats some good informtion. If they really are putting 20 inch or larger wheels on the production car I have to agree with you that they will get torn up on the roads in MD/VA/DC. Also interesting to hear that the interior is really that small. Did they give you any idea on when people might start taking deliveries? I have heard everything from late 2010 to early 2011.xradman said:I saw the car in person today at Ted Britt Ford in Fairfax, VA. I will post pictures soon, but first impressions are:
1. The car is beautiful!!!
2. Interior and trunk spaces are very small considering the outer dimensions of the car. The batteries and the low roof line take up a lot of interior space. It's probably smaller inside than a Honda Civic.
3. Tires and wheels are huge. I don't think the wheels will last 1 week in the National Capital region without being dented.
4. Ray Britt is a very nice guy and very enthusiastic about the car.![]()
