Hi,
Anyone who knows an owner with a chevy volt or opel/vauxhall ampera?
I am thinking do the owners of these cars have so much errors and faults with the commancenter like with the karma?
@Michael: The Volt owners have their own forums such as
this one -- but definitely not as prestigious or influential as Fiskerbuzz

-- and you may want to lurk there to see what is going on. I get updates from the Volt users group on Facebook and they are generally positive (no surprise there) but more importantly, the Volt has been the subject of a number of long-term test drives by car journalists and they have not identified any serious issues with the car, software or hardware.
Which reminds me of the story you often hear about Winston Churchill, which goes like this: WC has had a few too many at a big dinner banquet and after a while the prim and prissy lady sitting next to him turns to him and says "Mr. Churchill, you are drunk. You are inexcusably and intolerably drunk!" To which he responds, "Madam, you are ugly, you are unbearably ugly, and what is more, I will be sober in the morning."
So the Karma may be having some issues compared to the Volt, but software issues can and will be solved but the Volt will remain boring and uninspired, even though it includes some very clever and well-executed engineering, IMHO.
