A 2008 Pontiac Solstice Engine? Is that what really attracted me to the Karma in the first place? So here is an interesting question:

If you drive more in ICE mode than Stealth are you driving a 2008 Pontiac Solstice w
with electric assist?

Try telling that to people when they give you the thumbs up. If valet parkers in restaurants knew this they would relegate you to the back of the lot

To confirm the above, this is what I've learned from an authoritative source:

The gasoline generator (engine) is from the Pontiac Solstice / Saturn Sky and so is the radiator, condenser and fan assembly. There may be differences with respect to mounts, intake manifolds and other vehicle specific elements, but the main elements are common.

We spoke on the phone, but wanted to answer this one here in case others were wondering. It's located in the big black box looking thing, in the center front of the engine bay. Most factory recommendations are 15,000 miles for an air filter.

Is that 15000 ICE miles or overall miles. I have close to 29K miles on my car but the gas engine has only been on for about 3K of them. Other folks hardly ever run their ICE. When do we change the air filter?

Technically speaking, 15,000 ICE miles. If you're the owner that can really differentiate between the miles, then wait. If you're like most people that don't really pay attention (I know I wouldn't), I'd just swap it at 15k.

Thanks. I am coming up on my 30K service interval. I will check the air filter and replace if needed. Good advice as always.

Here is a link to the thread that I started because that was my first Fisker sighting in the wild.
