this will be true if the engine conected to wheels.. but it just a genertrator and and does very good job .. i drove the car in Yosemite Valley glaciear point at an elevation of 8000 .. engine bid loud but power always there didnt have any problem iwas impressed how this 6000 lb car handle in the corners @50 mph hard corners its much beter than my panamera ..on desecnding i gained 15 miles ..A 2008 Pontiac Solstice Engine? Is that what really attracted me to the Karma in the first place? So here is an interesting question:
If you drive more in ICE mode than Stealth are you driving a 2008 Pontiac Solstice w
with electric assist?
Try telling that to people when they give you the thumbs up. If valet parkers in restaurants knew this they would relegate you to the back of the lot

Is that 15000 ICE miles or overall miles. I have close to 29K miles on my car but the gas engine has only been on for about 3K of them. Other folks hardly ever run their ICE. When do we change the air filter? We spoke on the phone, but wanted to answer this one here in case others were wondering. It's located in the big black box looking thing, in the center front of the engine bay. Most factory recommendations are 15,000 miles for an air filter.
Thanks. I am coming up on my 30K service interval. I will check the air filter and replace if needed. Good advice as always.Technically speaking, 15,000 ICE miles. If you're the owner that can really differentiate between the miles, then wait. If you're like most people that don't really pay attention (I know I wouldn't), I'd just swap it at 15k.
Also a good point. It's not easy to 'check' at all. If you're going through the trouble of checking it, you may as well just replace it at that point.
Your car has 30k .. This great newsThanks. I am coming up on my 30K service interval. I will check the air filter and replace if needed. Good advice as always.
