a mint condition, 2012 Fisker Karma with just 324 miles on it, comes to the block.

What does the auctioneer say to sell the car? Let's hear your story...

Here's mine:

"This is the nicest, cleanest, most original Karma you'll find. It has delivery miles on it and was parked in a garage when the owner suddenly passed away. He had waited 3 years for this car and his widow refused to sell it. She wanted to keep it so she could remember her beloved husband."

"The car was purchased in 2034 by a larger collector who never drove the car and left it sitting for years without even starting it. In 2045 the car was purchased by a Chinese businessman who had the famous Nimisys & Sons totally bring the car back to its original, 2012 configuration.

It took 6 years for the project to be completed because Nimisys had to search the world for the original parts, like the control panel. Most restored Karma's you'll see will have an updated panel that was retrofitted sometime in 2013. The solar panel was in bad shape, so they found a new one in Dubai. The batteries were sourced from the only reproduction company to still make these old fashioned batteries; Harleyguy Co, LTD."

"After finishing the car, it was displayed in the living-room of the business man's Los Angeles home for over 10 years, but was regularly started and the batteries where vacsealtragtez to prevent any deterioration. The car is still flawless and has the original paint and leather, a substance that was derived from bovine after products."

"This car comes complete with the original 6.11 software so you can relive the experience that the first Fisker owners experienced."

"The car comes complete with Apple's latest iPad 67 which incorporates an extensive interface design to talk to out dated technology and diagnosis issues and fix then on the fly. The last version of the Karma's software, 8.14, is included in this sale so you can use the car without issues."

"The dash is signed by Hendrick Fisker and Bill Gates, of Microsoft fame. As you may know, in 2014 Microsoft purchased a stake in Fisker to go head to head with Apple's launch of iDrive systems in selected cars. After Hendrick returned to the helm in 2020, he developed the now famous Fisker RG900, using iodized-nutrimidiam-diastfat batteries, which set the revolution to end the use of fossil fuels to power vehicles."

"This car was revolutionary at the time because 99.9% of the cars and trucks were still using oil that was turned into a fuel called gasoline. Electric vehicles didn't take off until later; after Apple and Microsoft got involved with automotive battery software design. And no one had ever even heard of AMD3 fuel (anti-matter-dionzed fuel) like we use today."

"You'll love driving this car to local car show and see the looks of the young kids as they admire it's beautiful design; which as heralded as the most beautiful sedan ever produced by Car & Driver in 2060."

"Good luck and let's start the bidding at $3M yuan ($77M International dollars) from a phone in bidder. Do we have $3.5m?"

I LOVE this! Here is my question:

If my grandkids who have kept granddads precious 1st gen. Karma, put it up at the same auction as a one-owner 120,000 mile car, how much price deduct will there be for the fact that the original owner removed the stock Lithium-ion battery pack and replaced it with an iodized-nutrimidiam-diastfat pack in 2020, in order to extend his electric only range to 510 miles on a charge?

I'm think that the provenance will still allow 2.0 million yuan.........

Probably not as much as the owner who added one of these and bypassed the battery and the range extender:

Yep, I am waiting for the Mr. Fusion range extender and the flying car mod.

Since Hollywood is doing so many remakes these days, I would love to see the Karma be the time machine.
