I heard it was to improve command center response and the NAV/bluetooth but haven't gotten that confirmed.

My understanding (focus on understanding), is that it address bluetooth, infortainment improvements, and changes to NAV system. I don't know of any "official" document. I will right my dealer rep and see if I can get a clarrification.

As in increased acceleration? (not that i'm complaining).

Actually since i have been waiting about 20 seconds to touch "Agree" I have had no issues whatsoever with the screen.

I must say that the car has been pretty flawless, so i am alittle hesitant about any updates (for me).

Just got the update done. My initial impression is the command center is much faster.
Almost instant touch response now. Bluetooth echo seems to be gone. I've only had the car back for
Around 30 minutes and stopped for lunch. I'll post more when I get home. So far seems very good.

Did they finally remove the static Solar data screen or put in something that actually does something?

That Solar Screen was my favorite! Very stable, not difficult to use, never crashing. I am voting to keep it as is :D

Good! Sounds like they're finally "pre-compiling" the screens. (That was one of the obvious quick hacks to stick in. The software they've been using obviously calculates placement dynamically, i.e., you say "put up these buttons in a vertical arrangement" and it figures out where they go on the fly. This is fairly compute-intensive so you cache the result for going "back" to that screen. That's all well and good, it avoids bugs when changing the layout by adding or removing a button, but before delivering the software to customers, the set of menu items has become totally fixed, so you should run the layout software once and save the results and then hard-code the table into the binary.)

I'll have to see if the Fisker Salt Lake City guys have the software update ready on Monday when I take my car in for the hood clear-bra (their clear-bra guys were short of product and had to skip the hood back in September).
