Just saw an article saying Tesla is halting production of the roadster. Perhaps this is old news, but not to me.

Yeah, it's done. All the US Roadsters are sold, though there is a small used market (that may get larger once Model S deliveries start). There are still some EU spec cars available. But Tesla has received all the gliders they're going to get from Lotus. Only about 2500 total.
