Check it out - what I assume is the leatherette interior on the EcoStandard: EcoStandard

The black monotone leather on the EcoSport:
EcoSport

I think its that cloth part on the dash that looks ... stale/boring. Also, the leatherette and steering wheel on the EcoStandard look... blacker (even the wood trim!)... By comparison, the real leather looks so dull/gray. What do you think?

The leatherette looks too clinical and sterile to me, you could find that look on any Audi or BMW. I prefer the natural leather in the Ecosport. It sets the Karma apart from other cars. I saw the 'cloth part' with the diamond patern in person and it looks very good, much better than in this picture.

Disclaimer: I ordered Ecosport with the leather interior in this colour ;)

I dunno, I kinda wish there was the leatherette option on the EcoSport (and maybe they'd give you a $3,000 credit back... which would pay for the sparkly paint!)... I like the clean lines of it...

Also, I'm surprised they painted the wood trim black!

The Eco Standard interior looks a bit plain to me, but I'd bet that the fake leather will last longer than the suede that's in the more expensive models. I'm not sure why Fisker chose at the last minute to put that swatch of suede on the back of the seats - that's going to wear out very quickly.

Full disclaimer, like Dutch, I ordered the black sand as well. I'll take the suede, I'm not concerned about how it will wear, its not a daily driver. And shame on anyone that leaves it outside. :)
If you read the comments from the reviewers and the new owners, one of the top comments made is about the quality and materials of the INTERIOR. Amazing for a car that has such beautiful looks on the outside. They have done an excellent job on the interior and I think that the pleather interior really takes away from the bespoke nature of the car.
