Brian, somethings just loose back there. right under that panel are the high energy inverters. access through the trunk. maybe the speaker is hitting the inverters? speaker is in the middle and the inverters are on either side and mounted to the gas tank (don't go there, that's why I'm not sitting in the back of the car 
)
