That's part of their service agreement that their service people will come to you if you live too far from a dealer. But the other irony is that their service vehicle is not electric but ICE-powered because it needs to travel long distances reliably.

I have been getting admiring looks and thumbs up from Tesla Roadster drivers since I got the car. I would think that they could appreciate driving an electric car that does not require regular chiropractic intervention.

I've only driven it from the dealer back home (~15 miles) and it worked fine except for the rattle still coming from the back.

They did a very good job fixing the hood alignment. It's still off by maybe a millimeter or two, but that's a huge improvement over the 1/4" from before. Now you'd never even notice.

That's why they also likely have Model S reservations and will quietly leave you in the dust until then?

Brian, somethings just loose back there. right under that panel are the high energy inverters. access through the trunk. maybe the speaker is hitting the inverters? speaker is in the middle and the inverters are on either side and mounted to the gas tank (don't go there, that's why I'm not sitting in the back of the car )
