You're missing the $1000 sticker that says "Fisker Automotive" :)

(Ok, I'm exaggerating for effect, but it appears to be extremely similar to the EVConnect-installed "official" charger I have in my garage I paid $2400 all-in for)

It's not just "extremely similar", it's literally the same thing. Except for the $1k stickers. :dodgy:

(I still like the extra features of the Blink but am not sure I want to pay $450 for them....)

I paid

$749 - 10% (coupon) = 675
$350 install
$50 permit

Total: 1075

Local energy company CPS rebated $1000.

Net: $75!

Actually, no ct, they aren't - I had typed "exactly the same" originally too, but upon inspection the Home Depot model is slightly different looking and cleaner. It has the same few silly LEDs, but they look slightly different (hence "extremely similar" :)) I'm sure the guts are exactly the same though. Here's mine for comparison:

I did get mine installed in time to take advantage of the now-expired $1000 tax credit, so the net to me was $1400. I wish my utility offered a rebate!

Lone,
Did you submit for $1000 to the IRS? From the way the Form 8911 read it was 30% of installation cost up to $1000. So my roughly $2300ish install got me $696 that I filed for.

I haven't actually filed yet, but you're right. I've been saying $1000 but it will actually be closer to $700.
