Can anyone tell me how to switch from the clock to the digital odometer?:fisker:
yeah it's not the most practical clock. Honestly I just want an option to have digital number speed-o in stealth mode as I don't use the stealth mode clock and sometimes find it kind of difficult to read the digital needle speed-o when I'm trying to stay within a couple MPH of a numberDeep Ocean said:I just wish I could get the clock on the command center to change with daylight savings time.
But not a big fan of the stealth mode clock, not easy to read.
If the brightness of the command center would adjust in the daylight, that would help make the clock more legible.Deep Ocean said:I just wish I could get the clock on the command center to change with daylight savings time.

System > Time/Date > Options > 3rd or 4th option down.Deep Ocean said:I just wish I could get the clock on the command center to change with daylight savings time.

I think @Deep Ocean meant to have it change automatically, the way computers, cell phones and similar devices just change the time when they are supposed to without user intervention and are always showing the correct time.Nimisys said:System > Time/Date > Options > 3rd or 4th option down.Deep Ocean said:I just wish I could get the clock on the command center to change with daylight savings time.

Cell phones get the time from the network. With interesting results when the network is wrong.Fabulist said:I think @Deep Ocean meant to have [the clock follow DST] automatically, the way computers, cell phones and similar devices just change the time when they are supposed to without user intervention and are always showing the correct time.

Right, and the time base for the cellular network, along with a surprising array of other applications, including the 60HZ cycle of the power grid comes from GPS signals that have the most accurate time base generally available. So it should not be particularly difficult for the car to use the GPS signal to get the correct UTC time, and based on current location convert it to local time by applying the DST/ST rules.ct-fiskerbuzz said:Cell phones get the time from the network. We (girlfriend and I) claimed it was "Utah County time: rolling everything back to the 1950s!"

There are words below it that clearly state what mode you are in, especially if they eliminate the stupid word 'Hill' coming up which can clearly be determined by the letter or number in the center of the speedometer.aejdh2v said:I like the clock, now that I am used to it. In fact I wish the clock was there all the time. Though I must confess having it change from clock to speed-odometer makes it easy to see which mode I am using.
