I took my Karma to the monthly Caffeine and Exotics car show in Atlanta a few weeks ago. It turns out that the people from the How Stuff Works website and show were on hand making videos about many of the cars there. I watched the guys shoot a video about MacLaren while standing in front of a couple of 650Ses and 12Cs. I didn't realize that they shot one about Fisker too:

My Deep Ocean and a fellow owner with an Eclipse got a lot of screen time!

A similar show on Discovery Channel was my very first introduction to the Karma back in 2008, and it was love at first sight.

The narrator in the video states that this vehicle will set you back a staggering $87K. This figure is way off of the MSRP. I guess that was Fisker's original target.
Yes, that was the estimated MSRP when I placed my order in 2008 and I ended up paying $106K before taxes for mine. The signature edition actually turned out to be a better deal because their price was fixed and could not go up. To be fair, the solar roof was originally a $5K option, but it ended up being standard when the car went into production.

Pretty cool video, I always love seeing the Karma getting some positive screen time.

The comments on the video are disturbing....Someone should defend the Karma and set a few of their wrong assumptions straight (Someone who is more informed than me....There are a lot of smart peeps on this forum)
