I thought it might be fun to see how far our Karmas have been driven. Please respond to the poll. Thanks.

1800 miles
@kman - Thanks for registering and responding and welcome to FiskerBuzz!

Could you please click on the poll associated with this thread and check the appropriate box for your odometer reading? That way your mileage info will be tallied along with that of the other owners.

1200 miles and I've still never bought gas! Gas gauge shows 95% full.
That's awesome - be good to know how much cash it takes in electricity to fill up a karma as well. (Hard to measure in some ways).
It's roughly 20 kWh, so it depends on what you pay per kWh. The current US average is about $.10/kWh giving $2.

I'm having solar PV put on the roof of the new garage on the rebuilt part of the house, so for solar-generated electricity, I pay essentially nothing extra (but a whole lot up front :) ).

Of course I still don't have my Karma yet, but the word from the dealer is that Laguna Karmas should be all built by the end of June or so (at 2 to 3 per day, not per week like I was repeating before). I'm hoping to get mine around my birthday or so (towards the end of July) provided my house is sufficiently complete by then (they're still digging up the ground where the garage is going).

(We're planning to do some long road trips in the Karma when it arrives, and I suspect I won't have much chance to charge up, e.g., on the drive to the Grand Canyon, which will hurt my initial MPG numbers... alas!)

Thanks to all 52 owners who have responded to the poll. The median miles reported is about 2500.

If you have not yet entered your Karma's odometer reading, please do so.

Thanks,
Dennis

Now, let's do mpg poll.
Agree. I was going to wait until responses to this poll had died out before posting it rather than having two going at once.[hr]

I see Laguna voted he has 8000+ miles on his Karma. From his other posts I didn't think his car had even been built yet. Laguna, do you have a second Karma?
He posted sometime earlier that the dealer in the Netherlands was loaning him one of their demo cars until his car is delivered.

Fisker should be doing these types of polls. They're missing out on tremendous marketing opportunities.

Why not just run an extension cord to your neighbor's house?

Actually, they are. Fisker is conducting a targeted survey of at least a subset of registered owners probing very similar questions: Motivations for buying the car, effective communication channels, general demographic information, usage patterns, etc.

I know this because I just completed my survey tonight.

I tried to do my survey, but my anti-virus software (Trend Micro Titanium) blocked me from reaching what it thought was a Dangerous Page when I clicked the link in the email. Since that link had the web address of the bulk mailing firm used to send the survey emails, maybe the software erroneously thinks it is a spam site.

Karmafan,

This isn't exactly new. Brian posted this several months ago. Brian was very active on these forums for a while. If you're bored, do a forum search for posts by user "Brian".

I did the survey. It's legit and spam free. Although now that I think of it my computer will no longer load Tesla's website... :)
