Adbokat- We should meet sometime given I too live in the city. Would be nice to compare your experience/fit/finish with mine. PM me if you're up for meeting sometime.Adbokat said:Thanks!
I keep the car in Manhattan in my buidling's garage. As a matter of fact an issue I am dealing with now is the cost and the ability to electrically charge the car in the garage. Let see what they will charge me.
My car interior is like yours and that of Dutch- Black sand monotone. Love it!
Will do.SoCalGuy said:Adbokat- We should meet sometime given I too live in the city. Would be nice to compare your experience/fit/finish with mine. PM me if you're up for meeting sometime.Adbokat said:Thanks!

Maybe you could visit Adbokat's Karma when you miss yours too much.SoCalGuy said:Congrats! Welcome to the family! What did you select as your interior? Are you keeping the car in the city? I actually live in Manhattan and LA, and am keeping my car in LA.
Welcome to the Forum. It's great to see all the new owners joining up each week. It can't be easy driving a car like this in NY, and it would be interesting for us to hear about your experiences.Adbokat said:Just picked up my silver wind Karma. Very excited and concerned at the same time. Have been following the discussions in the forum and learned much from all the contributors. Hopefully will be able to add mostly positive experiences with this beautiful vehicle.
greetings from long Island. I hope you are enjoying the Forum. I give you a lot of credit. Buying a Fisker when you live in Manhattan is trully courageous. Have not been comfortable wioth the thought of diving mine into the city. Spots i n parking garages are narrow and the car is so wide. I hope you have been able to work out the charging issue! The level 2 charger is sitting in my garage waiting for the electrician. I have been able to get by with 110 current thusfar. Best of luckAdbokat said:Thanks!

I know how much attention my car gets on LI! I could only imaging how much you get in manhattan! Parking lots are a popular spot to see people taking pictures of the car. If you like that kind of attention ( actually I do) this is a perfect car. All kidding aside, the car is so much fun to drive, you need to get it out on some smooth roads. Even with the software issues and headaches, I wouldn't trade it for the world! I am trying to make plans to go to the NYC auto show but will leave the Karma behind. I think the company is slated to be there and will hopefully show more on the Nina.Adbokat said:Greetings from the Manhattan island!ixtractm said:greetings from long Island. You call it courageous - I call it infantile! There are issues of being the only Fisker in Manhattan. The roads are horrific, the parking is impossible BUT it's all fun! I feel like a true pioneer and have managed to adapt. I get approached all the time with questions and compliments on the car. I can guarantee that once you do decide to bring the car to the city it will be an unforgettable experience.
Sorry for the late response. I bought and service the car at Great Neck Fisker/Jaguar. The salesperson was Nomi and the tech person is Kyle. Great and responsive people.rex said:Like so cal, I too i am ca and NYC. I am headed to my apt in the city tommorow.
