Hi Fisker Buzzers,

I am new to the forum. I drive a EcoStandard Karma 2012. I hope to learn a lot from this nice group of people and maybe have something to contribute in the future.

RE: Hello from Hotatlanta

Hansen, welcome to the forum! I'm in the ATL as well, hoping to take delivery of an EcoSport sometime this month. Of course, it's been "sometime this month" for the last several months now, so we'll see.

There are one or two other Atlanta Karma owners on here. There's at least one in Cumming and another somewhere in else in Forsyth county. I'm in Roswell myself.

If my car ever shows up I'll see about starting up an Atlanta chapter of the Fisker Owners Club :) It would be fun to get the cars together for a drive sometime.

There's a wealth of knowledge here on the forum, so spend some time looking around!

What color did you end up with? When did you get your Karma?

Congrats! Share with us some pictures! Also, what made you decide on the EcoStandard? How long have you had a deposit?

RE: Hello from Hotatlanta

Thanks for all the warm welcomes!

I have a white Karma. It seems like there are a few EcoStandards for sale at Fisker Atlanta. I love the design and the appearance of the car. It definitely turn heads. I have the same bugs/ problems others are having with the software, tire pressure warning light, missing floor mats, speed warning, etc. I am hoping my dealer live up to their promise to make it alright in the very near future. I will keep you guys updated.

Did you have a deposit or were you able to walk in and pick one off the lot?

I happened to drive by the Atlanta Fisker dealership today. It's also a Cadillac and Subaru dealer, and they are about to break ground on a dedicated Fisker wing. For now though there's not much to let you know they also sell Fiskers - there's not even a sign.

They've found a pretty clever way to get the message out though: On either side of the driveway that leads to the dealership they've parked two Karma's - a White one and a Black one - that all drivers passing by can't help but see. I wonder how many actually pull in to learn what they are.

I believe those two EcoStandard Karmas are for sale, no wait. They are building a solar powered showroom for Karma sometime this year attaching to the Subaru/Cadillac building. The building looked impressive on paper.[hr]

Welcome! I have a White/Canyon on order... please post some pics! :)

This photo shows my Karma came with a basketball hoop attached, j/k

The white does seem iridescent upon close inspection, even though the dealer told me it is just plain white.

Yes, they are both available for immediate sale. There's a thread titled EcoStandards in Inventory that talks about how Fisker Atlanta got their hands on five EcoStandards that are ready to go. There's even a referral bonus if you send someone their way and they buy one :)

The new dealership looks nice. Per Jamin, they should be breaking ground in 4-5 weeks. Here's a rendering of the new wing. Note the PV on the roof:

The white looks good! Well, all the colors look good, IMO. :D I just happen to prefer that electric Laguna blue ... electric blue for the electric car! (Of course it's not exactly http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_blue_(color) but it's the closest. And anyway I like the deeper blues more.)

I bought a black car once, and refuse to do so ever again because of the way it instantly shows the tiniest bit of dirt. :D I'm OK with white and silver but I prefer blue and green colors in general. I like the Inferno color but believe cops stop red cars more often. :D

I wonder if they're offering any incentives to get 'em sold quickly....

Michael, the leather like material is nice, look and feels durable, seats are comfortable. I cannot really tell the difference between this and real leather. I have not held a fire next to it. However, I could have sworn that I heard moos when I touched it :p
