Just discovered Fisker Buzz today. I have an Eco Sport on order through Fisker of Atlanta. Like most everyone else, I'm anxious to get my hands on the car :)

Welcome. Is your avatar in the color - Deep Ocean - that you ordered?

Do you happen to know when Fisker of Atlanta will be receiving a demo car?
Hello Magnus, I saw that in another topic LonePalmBJ wrote:

• Fisker Atlanta will be receiving their first Demo models (three of them, I think) on August 24, 2011
• On August 24-25, representatives from Fisker will also be in Atlanta for the Fisker Roadshow, which will include demos, a reception, and drive opportunities, with preferential treatment for deposit holders. This is going to be Fisker Atlanta's big debut and marketing launch.

Thank you, I saw that later as well! Not to hijack someone else's intro thread, but I am also new here- from Atlanta, moving out to Anaheim in about a month!
Moving out to Anaheim?! If you are interested in seeing a Fisker, that is quite a smart move. Besides Uusikaupunki, Finland (where the Karma's are being built) you will have the best opportunity in Anaheim to see one. Because that's exactly where Fisker is moving its headquarters to:

Yes indeed, hopefully I'll be able to catch a glimpse!
This is Greg from Fisker Atlanta. We will be getting 2 Demos at the end of August (as far as we have heard). We can not wait for them to get here. Our Road Show is on the 24th & 25th. We are still working out the particulars of where it will be. We are open to suggestions. We still have 3 Karmas ordered that are not sold (2 Sports & 1 Chic). Let me know if anyone wants one...

Greg,

Good to see someone from Fisker of Atlanta on here!

What kind of venue are you looking for to host the road show? What do you think you'll need in terms of space/capacity/amenities/nearby roadways?

I'm tempted so suggest Road Atlanta or Atlanta Motorsports Park (if it's ready). those would be fun places to wring out the car but they are a really long way from Atlanta, and the 24th and 25th are weeknights. If you're looking for a more central, in-town venue I'll put my thinking cap on...

Hey Brent,

We have tossed that around as an idea as well but like you mentioned, it would probably be better to do it somewhere closer to the dealership.

Greg
Greg,

I have a suggestion that I think would be perfect - if you can get the right green light.

How about the old abandonded Chevy dealership that's about a mile south of you on Roswell? It's got a great location and street presence, so it would be easy for the Fisker semi to get in and out of and get set up with a lot of visibility to other motorists, it has a decent parking lot on the north side for buyers/prospective buyers and an enormous parking lot on the south side which you could use for staging of demo cars, and also set up a simple cone drivers demo course if you were so inclined. Of course it has easy access to different roads too - the same roads you guys are very familiar with for all of your test drives. You could show residential, stop-and-go on Roswell Road and Northridge, and then open it up for one exit southbound on 400 to Abernathy. This route would also drive people directly past the dealership and service center for people unfamiliar with your location. (Some Fisker signage would be nice :) ). It also gets you on 400 South at rush hour, which should be somewhat less painful then 400 north, and let people feel what 70-80mph feels like.

If you could also get inside you have probably 50,000 feet for a nice cockail party, and lots of private rooms for closing :)

From Atlanta also, this reminds me of having 3 girlfriends at the same time in high school, you tell them all the same thing. That's what Fisker is doing to US. I have been told numerous times " you are getting the 1st car we are delivering". I'll buy another Fisker and donate it to charity if our cars gets delivered before the end of 2011. They know for certain we will not but they keep the carrot dangling. Now, with the EPA ratings and bad press over the Gov't loan, I'm afraid the next model will be the Fisker HOC, House Of Cards.
