Whenever I hit highway speeds in my Karma, a voice plays over the radio & says "Please observe your speed" and it comes on every 5 min. It's driving me nuts. Lol. Has anyone had this happen?

Yes there's a system setting for this you can turn it off or set it to 10, 15, 20, or 25 over the posted speed limit.

It's located in the Nav menu under setting speed warning

Thx. Just hit the setting on my car just now to no limit. Idk why it just went to that setting. Thank you!

I've had my Karma for 18 mos and just recently the Speed Limit prompt started to come on. I don't have a nav, so I can't figure out how to disable the prompt. Any ideas?

I don't know. But I followed the instructions above and it's not there anymore. It was sooooo annoying

I assume you have a standard Karma no Nav and no backup,camera . This problem of the Nav voice coming on isn't a easy repair trust me I've worked on this problem for a while . Long story short after the software upgrades this happened too both the standard cars we sold. Fisker came out with a special file that needed to be run after 510 software was done . The file worked for a few weeks but in time the voice came back I would reflash 510 same problem I even used a special engineering tool and that failed . The only thing that worked was I had to replace the CIU and before flashing 510 too the CIU I needed to go into the Nav menu and yes a new CIU has Nav they all have Nav until the car config see's the car wasn't equipped with Nav from the factory . After I turned it off in the settings screen I then flashed the 510 software problem solved I spent months working with Fisker with this . I will send you a Pm to discuss a solution

I've got a fix that works all the time: Drive slower! Haha jk. Couldn't resist.
