Cool event (Fisker had three Karmas parked in front of the venue). Great buzz, lots of positive talk by media folks. Overall, very upbeat! Some press even stormed the stage to sit in the Atlantic!

To answer some of your questions, the interior is still 2+2 and the design is more adventurous than the Karma. The Atlantic has "much more" interior room than the Karma, including substantially more leg room in the rear (you can put your feet underneath seats in front, more headroom too). The Command Center is driver oriented (angled towards driver's seat), and there are more pronounced curves in the interior. The car still sits on 22's! Although the standard wheels will be 20s'... its also about 8-9 inches shorter than the Karma and sits 3 inches higher...I heard Henrik say it will be a steel frame, so maybe weight may not be as light as we had hoped... but details still TBD.

If you guys want to see more of the interior, check out the press B-roll below - you'll see towards the end, some pretty full shots of the interior.

SoCalGuy, thanks for the comments and video.

Press stormed the stage! They must have snapped pictures. Did you storm too? Did you see a center battery tunnel like Karma?

I didn't, as I was in the middle of a conversation - there literally were dozens of reporters/photographers that hopped up, a few sat inside the car until they were all escorted off the stage.

There is a battery tunnel down the middle (you can see it in the B-roll footage too), so its 2+2 seating for now.[hr]
Some screencaps from the Fisker footage and some press photos:

I also put together this side by side comparison of the Karma and the Atlantic (scaled using the wheels). The Atlantic shot is slightly off center from head on side view, but close enough.

Awesome comparison. Both cars are beautiful in their own way. The Atlantic may actually look more aggressive, in an Aston Martin sort of way.

Hello Elon, are you watching?

I guess I prefer the Atlantic. Though some of the styling is a bit pushed too far for me (side creases too sharp and "plumbers crack" headrests), I like the proportions better. The design seems more sensible: Better positioning of the touch screen. Better trunk lid design. Fold down rear seats. Better interior space versus exterior size.

Of course some of this depends heavily on their new drive train. I think the Karma drive train is too bulky for the performance they're able to get out of it. Ultimately the Atlantic may end up being the better car.

Something occurs to me. Are the headrests intended to emulate the two pillars in the Fisker logo?[hr]

And there are more secrets on the powertrain! More 'Love It'. :D:D:D
"Secrets" just means it's not done yet. After starting with Quantum for the Karma, this is an area where Fisker still needs to develop more expertise.

How would we have not missed it? I wasn't invited even though I live in NY. I certainly understand that this was mainly a media event, but I also would have thought that if it was being simulcast over the web, a current owner would have been notified.

I believe the dealers reached out and sent the links to their respective customers. The event was primarily for the media (and the space was packed), although a few investors, dealer owners and Fisker Board members were also in attendance.

Great job with the photos. My 14 year old son likes the Karma better so I guess that's the final verdict!!! I love how they made a four door car look like a two door. The roof is awesome looking but I would imagine that the interior would get a bit warm on a bright sunny day. A two door convertible Atlantic would look an awful lot like a Sunset wouldn't it?

I received an email from Fisker Corporate with a link, and I posted the link to FiskerBuzz in a dedicated "Link to Reveal Event" thread.

Another interior shot - the interior looks better (less mustardy) in person:

I would have hoped Fisker Corporate would have sent all owners the link.

Thank you anyway but I already saw the link on a previous post. It was cool to watch. I would have preferred to see it as it happened though. The car is gorgeous! I love it. I hope it gets made soon. Not that I would buy one, unless they make one in convertible or the Sunset. I suspect if you put this car next to an Audi A5 or BMW 3 it would be a no-brainer in terms of style/appeal.

I agree with you. I'm not sure who they sent the info to, or how exactly I got on the email list, but I was commenting that Fisker Corporate did send emails to at least some people.

Hopefully when Fisker gets their just announced Customer Portal (or whatever they call it) online we'll have a more reliable - and bidirectional - communication channel than the hit/miss of today.
