Did you ever sell your car?zakiu said:Tough decision, but we decided to sell the Fisker. It's a Signature with 400 miles and is located in Atlanta, GA. Car is perfect and as new. Please PM/email me with any questions or reply here. Asking 125k.
Hah. Good luck.zakiu said:if you're not interested in buying the car, please keep the peanut gallery comments to yourself. nobody likes a backseat driver. thanks
You make a good point though. If this car, with 1300 miles is trying to find a buyer at 20k over new price while new cars are being discounted by dealers into the 70ks, there's a real disconnect. May sell quicker at a lower price.SoCalGuy said:Hah. Agreed, looking closely on eBay and other sites, buyers are not going to pay the price you are asking, there are too many used cars in the market, 3 of them are sig edition.AnOutsider said:You make a good point though. 2 cents and peanuts.
New cars discounted into the $70Ks? Curious where you heard that. I know a few US dealer and one international dealer that are selling at sticker plus a few incentives (like winter tires, tint, etc).AnOutsider said:You make a good point though. Actually 8759 miles, which would round up to 9k. It also claims "Options: Sunroof, Leather Seats, CD Player". Sunroof? CD player? Really?dennis said:@AnOutsider claimed that NEW cars were being discounted in the 70K's. This one is used with 8000+ miles.
Got that in an email... Guess sometimes it pays to spend so much time on the InternetAlso, we have one non-demonstration Karma EcoChic in stock at special pricing:
New 2012 Karma EcoChic Inferno/Earth Tritone MSRP $112,850, Now $99,900!
It is quite common to discount demo cars significantly, Tesla was doing $1/mile on the Roadsters in late 2010. Demo cars are a tough sell, most people would rather spend a few k more for a new vehicle.AnOutsider said:Sorry, that should have been the 80's. fisker of Wilmington had their showroom models discounted to 85 and 89 and also this:
