Tough decision, but we decided to sell the Fisker. It's a Signature with 400 miles and is located in Atlanta, GA. Car is perfect and as new. Please PM/email me with any questions or reply here. Asking 125k.

It says 1,300 miles btw. Also, I thought the Signature editions were priced at $100K?

You make a good point though. If this car, with 1300 miles is trying to find a buyer at 20k over new price while new cars are being discounted by dealers into the 70ks, there's a real disconnect. May sell quicker at a lower price.

2 cents and peanuts.

Agreed, looking closely on eBay and other sites, buyers are not going to pay the price you are asking, there are too many used cars in the market, 3 of them are sig edition.

jesus, guys. i posted the car for a friend back in march. if you want it call the dealership. i'm sure they will let it go for a fair market value. otherwise why waste your time even talking about it - nothing better to do? always amazed at how much time people waste on the internet!

New cars discounted into the $70Ks? Curious where you heard that. I know a few US dealer and one international dealer that are selling at sticker plus a few incentives (like winter tires, tint, etc).

Where can you buy a car in the 70s?
here is one - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Other-Makes-Karma-2012-Fisker-Karma-EcoSport-/140863779544?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item20cc22b2d8#ht_500wt_1182
@AnOutsider claimed that NEW cars were being discounted in the 70K's. This one is used with 8000+ miles.

Actually 8759 miles, which would round up to 9k. It also claims "Options: Sunroof, Leather Seats, CD Player". Sunroof? CD player? Really? :D

(Standard depreciation on a vehicle is ~20% even with just 1 extra mile making it "used" instead of "new". Add another year and 9k miles, and a 30% discount on the base price of about 110k gives an expected value of roughly $77k, about $2k below the "buy it now" price on this EBay listing.)

Sorry, that should have been the 80's. fisker of Wilmington had their showroom models discounted to 85 and 89 and also this:

Also, we have one non-demonstration Karma EcoChic in stock at special pricing:
New 2012 Karma EcoChic Inferno/Earth Tritone MSRP $112,850, Now $99,900!
Got that in an email... Guess sometimes it pays to spend so much time on the Internet

It is quite common to discount demo cars significantly, Tesla was doing $1/mile on the Roadsters in late 2010. Demo cars are a tough sell, most people would rather spend a few k more for a new vehicle.

Looks like Fisker of Wilmington has 4 Fiskers in stock, all over 100k, so that would mean they are taking 20k+ off the price on new cars? Are these showroom vehicles demos as well?
