Almost seconds after plugging this bad boy in with the stock charger, the 4 lights at the bottom pop on and stay solid!!! It sometimes waits until I get 3 maybe even 5 whopping miles, than takes the crash and stays solid all night  I wake up, unplug, and sure enough, engine cranks on in need of some gas to help power the car, defeating its purpose. It makes all the normal weird clicks and noises when I initially plug her in, any idea what this could be?? Car has 10,109k miles on it, literally probably started almost immediately at 10k! Hope someone might be able to help:angel:

Yes we can help but you may not like the answer . When you plug the charger in do you hear the pre charge relays close that's the loud clunk type noise ? And within 10 too 20 seconds later do you hear that clunk again ? Does the charger lights start to scroll and all of a sudden stop and stay solid ? If yes to any of the above conditions more then likely a pre charge relay has gone bad . The only way to really check this the car has to be hooked up to the Fisker diagnosis tool and codes need to be read .

Where are you located ? Some other basic tests also need to be done does this charging problem happen no matter if the car is cold or hot . Does the car charge at all . You can PM if you like . I've been repairing the batteries since Fisker has closed . Depending where you are located we can come up with a game plan.

I'm having the EXACT same issue with my Karma. I keep reading about the OBCM, relays and pack fuse being bad.

I'm in Miami and was wondering if HarleyGuy has those items in stock so I can get the car to him. I'm really hoping you say yes.

I plug my Karma in every evening. Hear a loud click from the wall charger and next morning I am at 50miles. 2 or three times the car has been stubborn and I have had to restart, shut the car off and re-plug in to get the click. On two occasions I found that it just didn't charge at all overnight. Occasionally the fan comes on while charging as well. Are these normal quarks or symptoms of something, or operator error?

those are not normal quarks . Only thing I can suggest that you might not be aware of I still advise to let the car go to sleep before plugging in the charger .

Do you have a check engine light ? Are you using 110 or 220 for charging if using 110 is it a dedicated outlet

No check engine ilght. I have been plugging in as soon as I get out of the car. 240volt wall charger. Often I charge it two times.. overnight and then when I get home from work so it can be used in the evening.... ????? How do I put it in sleep, when does it go into sleep, and how so I know when it is.

Letting it go to sleep is what is also referred to as the 'soft-reset'. After turning off the car, let it sit for 2 minutes. All the PRND lights will turn off in the center column, indicating it's asleep. If the fans are running, they'll also shut off when it goes to sleep. That's the best time to plug in the charger.

Half Solution

Am investigating the same 110v (at home) charging failure but interestingly the car still charges normally on 220v (at work). Have tried different outlets with same failed result so maybe it's the charger. Will post any findings.

If it's the original Fisker branded 110v charger, I'm willing to bet its the charger itself. That charger has a high failure rate, to the point I won't sell them. I have a different charger available if you need one.

Thanks
No matter how Fisker comes back, it will be hard for those of us on this end of this forum to repay the efforts of those few experts that have continued to help us.
Thanks for the compliments.Harleyguy, Lormax and I have all enjoyed supporting these beauties and want the brand to succeed. Let me know if i can help you at all, MD seems so local anymore lol
