That much weight must be pure poison for the handling.
Even my Lexus IS-F feels heavy, and it's weigth is 2/3 of the Karma.

The 20 kWh-battery accounts for most of the extra weight. But the battery sits low in the middle of the car, so it gives the car a low center of gravity. Handling should not suffer too much.

Well the 5k lbs weight makes sense. I can't think of a 400hp car that has a 5+ sec 0-60. I always wondered why the HP number is so high. It's to offset the weight of the battery. Fisker could have shaved off alot of weight with carbon fiber, but that wouldve sent the start price over 100k.

as the other poster stated the weight is well distributed and low. Added to that the 22 inch wheels and the handling should be good, maybe even great.
