Again, I will have to wait until I see things more "in context" to be sure, but I like the Canyon Tri-Tone (not listed in the poll) (Sport) and "Earth" (Chic) the best so far, I think.

The car I saw in person, when it was here about a month ago, had the Canyon Tri-Tone interior.

So, for weeks now I've been debating what interior color I'll go with. To be honest, I find the interior of the Karma a bit retro and not in a good way. I think the limited color choices are all pretty iffy. I'm normally against black interior cars since it's too hot here in Texas and black makes the car feel stuffy, but in the videos I've seen of a Karma with the black interior, it looks a lot "classier" than the tri-tone ones. Much less retro, so I'm considering going with black.

That being said, I think the best interior is actually the Earth Tri-Tone because those colors almost actually work, and the pattern on the seats is less Space:1999. But I don't know if it's really worth paying all that extra $ for the Eco Chic. It's also a little hard to tell from the photos exactly what the faux materials are like. A lot of it looks like burlap or something, and it looks like material that would very easily stain. Real leather is great due to it's durability, but I just can't tell what this Eco Chic stuff really is.

What are your guys' thoughts on all of this?

I will go for Black Monotone. I saw on pictures how well it looks (LA Auto Show), especially with the ace of diamonds pattern that stretches across the front. It also helps that the other colors come with an extra price tag, so that took away any doubts I still had.

The choice of exterior color is less easy. Shadow is my favorite, even though it costs more, but I'm still keeping an open mind about Silver Wind (also costs more) and White Sand (no extra cost).

Yeah, I think the car looks good with any of the exterior colors. If my Aston wasn't already grey I'd probably go with that, so I'm not sure what color I want.

I wish that black interior was more of a dark gray instead.

My dealer confirmed that my Signature Edition as well as all the Signature Editions will come with an exterior color of Silver Mirage (not sure how this differs from Silver Wind) and a Mojave Tri-Tone leather interior which looked like a primary reddish brown, with charcoal and light sand accents.

Is it me or does the Silver Mirage color for the Signature Series (like the one Ray Lane got ) have a golden hue/tint to it?

I hope the Silver Wind doesn't look like that...I hope its more of a brilliant silver color, like this:

I chose Shadow because, to my eye, darkish colors shorten the car just a tad, and I do think that the Karma is ever-so-slightly too elongated. Of the dark colors, shadow is my favorite. I went with Canyon Tri-Tone (I still resent the fact that they nickel and dimed long time depositors with interior price bumps) because it's reasonably unique. That's not to say that the Black Monotone interior isn't very nice, but in South Florida, your legs (in shorts) can literally be burned if you happen to leave the car in a sunny spot.

I hope it all looks good.

21 days to my test drive!

I would like to see a Silver Mirage against a Silver Wind to see the difference. Yes, Dutch, the SEs have the Silver Mirage Diamond Dust paint, how that is different than the Silver Wind Diamond Dust paint, beats me. Also, the SEs will be the only models with the Mojave Tri-Tone leather interior.

Just talked with my dealer today, they are hoping for delivery around the end of September for mine #51 and Al Gore's, whatever number he is. Supposedly, EVConnect is setting up his house and they are supposed to be giving me a call. There was no issue of production date being delayed while they waited for me to choose options like many people did, because I had no options to choose. I am guessing, based on your production date, that my car is done and awaiting a full boat for shipment to the US.
