This is from the fisker facebook site:
Airco heat exchanger was pierced by a stone, airco fluid leaked and started burning. This sh.t happens with all brands, alas.

I don't buy the story on facebook my guess is on a defective cooling fan that was never replaced. The story on facebook makes no sense- if the heat exchanger was ripped apart it would leak coolant (non conductive coolant) and would not cause a fire.

That's what I was stating on the Facebook post. The reason stated seemed off.

yea it seems suspect that the fire started in a place where all other fires on Karma's have started (outside of hurricane sandy). I would bet it was from a shorted out cooling fan. 1 less white sand karma on the road :(
