Delawareonline.com last week reported on the first meeting. Its report shed some more light on the production schedule of the Fisker Nina-project:
''Production hiring won't begin until early 2012, when pre-production on the plug-in hybrid Project Nina sedan, the company's second car, is slated to get going. Full production has been delayed until the third quarter of 2012. Fisker had expected production to begin here in the middle of that year, with 100,000 cars rolling out in 2013, followed by another 125,000 in 2014. Fisker has promised to ultimately employ 2,500 people here, directly and through suppliers. Its Project Nina car, which may carry a target price tag of $47,000, won't be unveiled until early 2012.''

It makes sense for Fisker to unveil the Nina so late. If it were unveiled earlier, it could cut into Karma-sales (which is a stunning car, but Henrik Fisker said the Nina would be also be something very special. And cheaper).
