http://www.fiskerautomotive.com/Content/pdf/Atlantic%20Pre-Order%20Form.pdf

Just returned the form to Fisker and put down a deposit for the Atlantic. See link above. A wonderful car and I have great faith that the Fisker team will pull it off. Stay your course. I test drove extensively the Karma in Switzerland and did never experience any software glitches or performance issues (from powertain to touchscreen in order to communicate with car) some of you have mentioned in this blog.

Looking forward to driving the Atlantic in Switzerland (maybe end 2013 but more likely in early 2014).

Anybody else who pre-ordered an Atlantic?

I think this program is still in flux - some dealers are charging less for current Karma owners and we have yet to hear from Fisker regarding any Karma owner priority / discounts for the Atlantic.

Or if there is going to be a signature edition Atlantic like there was for the Karma.

I'm very confident that the current answer is yes.

I drove the Fisker Karma last Saturday. Pretty cool car with a great ride. Volt's drivetrain is certainly more refined it seems. That test drive was all well and good but I was thinking of the Atlantic as well as the ELR as well some some others.

With the announcement Tony Posawatz being the Fisker's new CEO ... it made be believe the Fisker Atlantic was really going to happen and would have some better experience behind it in moving the car in to real production with everything behind that (quality, fit, finish, problem solving, etc, etc).

Because of Tony being hired I mailed in a check and the Fisker Atlantic per-order form today.

Just mailed in my check for the Atlantic....hopefully Fisker doesn't go BK before the elections and I lose my deposit! Very excited about the Atlantic, I am planning on it being my long distance highway driver.
Congradulation! I'm thiking of putting one in too. I think fisker will do a bang up job with the Atlantic based on the lesson it learned with the Karma.

Either that or they will end up making a whole new set of mistakes. But I have faith. ;)

I mailed the check the day I made the post. They cashed it a few days later on 21Aug2012. [correction]

From the form it stated:
A confirmation order number will be issued when payment has been processed. Please allow 3-4 business days for payment processing. A Confirmation Number will be sent to you via email once payment has been secured.
I have not heard from them. Is they the way they treat potential owners?!?!?

I followed up with an email on the form on 30Aug2012 and have not heard back either.

Sorry for the confusion. Correction. I saw it cashed on 21Aug2012 [correction correction] per the money market sell transaction.

I think you're going from bad to worse. Sept 21 is in the future and Oct 21 is further into the future. Are you sure you don't mean Aug 21?

Actually I think I meant Nov 21. <grin> Doh. I should just step away from the keyboard today. I'll have to really unit test the code I'm working on today. Sorry clearly too many things going on in my head which is not connected to my fingers today ... nor am I using common sense to proofread. Don't hold these post against me as I'm generally a lot more level headed.

To be honest when I first posted that I did not hear back I thought there would be a few post saying that their deposit got there and they responded promptly. Obviously there were no post like that. While I appreciate we all want Fisker to be successful I also have some belief in holding people accountable especially if I'm writing a decent size check on such a unknown timed/cost project.

I was able to talk to I.C. there and she turned out to be terrific with great follow up.

I won't get into why things did not go smoothly with the initial follow up or subsequent one but it was not on my end.

At this point I'm happy with how it has turned out and hope others chime in that they sent in deposits so I don't feel so lonely <grin>. Thanks for all your follow ups.

Probably most (but not all) of us who already own a Fisker are waiting to see what the Atlantic looks like, and maybe even for a quantity discount from Fisker.:) After test driving the Tesla, my spouse decided not to purchase one and asked for a deposit refund. I am hoping he drives his ICE a little longer and purchases an Atlantic. Even though my Karma is in the shop at the moment, I like my Fisker well enough to hope to see it's little brother in our garage.

I hope you Karma owners do get a deal. Everyone of you are very impressive in my book to take that early adoption risk with such a "new" company.

I assume he test drove the Model S? 250 miles seems livable to me. I could live with the Model X and get ride of my large vehicle. It'd be cool because I could efficiently use it as a daily driver as well.

I don't understand your statement about what the Atlantic looks like. Many in this thread (and on various places on the net).
