According to Trademark Electronic Search it seems as if Fisker abandoned the Atlantic name in December of last year? Strange

*edit* it seems to be a clerical error on the part of Fisker. Who ever is responsible for this at Fisker better get their butt in gear and get the name reinstated!!

Didn't like the name 'Atlantic' anyway, it wasn't very original and out of tone with 'Karma'. They should have stayed with 'Nina'. But now that the company could become Chinese and the cars could even be built in China, the name 'Atlantic' may also not be appropriate anymore.

I guess Bugatti, when they find out that the name is free again, are going to correct their own mistake of not registering it years ago.

Hey, maybe Fisker even did a deal with them to give the name back and get some cash

I am guessing that a petition to revive has already been filed and, one can only hope, that whoever was in charge of docketing the date has been fired.

I think Fisker should have called the car the Fisker Frontier - it really encapsulates what the Atlantic/Nina represented - affordable, eco-luxury - a new 'frontier' for the automobile.
