Feeling blessed

I have driven my Karma for 8000 miles so far trouble free (knock on wood), other then the occasional check engine light. I just have read so many stories of people having so many issues. Just feel blessed. My car has been amazing and I love it. Couldn't think of a better car to own, & I have owned over 20 cars.

Great to hear Lambo. I've driven 12k miles, and am also enjoying my good Karma.
I'm with you guys...believe it or not I'm at 35,000 miles. 2nd set of tires and (big knock on wood) no problems whatsoever.

Great everyday driver. Charges over night and I get pretty much 48 miles to the office and gas on the way home. All electric on the weekends.

Rock solid to date.
Wow, I thought I was a high-timer at 12k+. Nice to know I am not and I hope that mine works as well. I worry with it being an SE and therefore a low VIN number which seems to be the issue with many of the faulty items.
SE #72. 12200 miles and everything is well. I love this car.
Wow jrocks 35,000 miles! Impressive! Good to know!
I'm low man, have only 3000 miles but no real problems after they replaced the RMD and twin motors.
I have 10,200 miles on mine and it is running well. I hope to keep driving this car for a long time.
I'm a Karma virgin with only 2K miles in 4 months. Low to high 40's on the battery. No complaints. Best car I've ever had. At this rate it'll take me 6.5 years to get to 35K miles.
10,000 miles in 17 months. Zero issues since Oct. 2012 when I received a replacement battery. Also got new drive motors and RDM in August 2012. So while I have an early VIN, all of the major subsystems with flaws were replaced under warranty. Feeling very lucky.

Dennis, with your new RDM, do you still have that low speed spline rattle (sounds like a growl when you reverse or move forward sometimes at low speed)?
He may, depending on if Fisker instructed the techs to loctite the splines or not.

My new higher VIN Karma still has that growl - did all the factory-delivered Karmas have that "feature" or were later Karmas (e.g. 2200s) delivered without that issue?

Was the loctite a typical fix?

Is this a required or preventative maintenance issue?
@SoCalGuy - I've seen a 26xx car have that growl, so I doubt it was ever done at the factory or port level. The loctite solves it.

@Ira - For now I'd call it a preventative fix, though IMHO there aren't enough cars out there with a lot of miles to know if that can cause damage or not.

Personally, I can't see how that noise can't cause some sort of possible damage in the future.
Mine has the growl (and is a 26xx car).

Guess I should ask the local dealer to look into it on Wednesday, when they're doing the oil change.
I have a stuck driver's side seat belt. It is in the closed position so I am driving illegally but am taking my chances. Anyone ever have a stuck seatbelt problem?

Ct let us know what they say - btw what color combo is your Karma?
I'm also curious if the dealer will take care of it Ct, and what price they quote.
