I remember i was reading that you shouldnt put the karma on charge while the fans are on, i guess that is old information with the latest software. Yesterday when having my karma on charing i noticed 4 hours later the car had put on the fans

510 software? Center radiator fan?

Turn off the A/C before you shut off the car and it won't stay on.

Turn the ac off before turning the car off. For some reason if you leave the ac on and turn the car off, the karma fans have a mind of their own when charging
No it wont hurt the car if the fan runs while the car is charging . You need to be more concerned if the low temp fans turn on and the car doesn't charge .
Had the same problem, turned the A/C off and no fan!!!

Always good info on the Buzz.

To add on Harleyguy's post, if the fans are running while charging, it'll take longer to charge the vehicle because the HV battery will be using energy to maintain the 12 volt battery. This is especially noticeable if you're using the 110 charger
I always though the fans that were still on during charging were the ones keeping the car cool in the sun (circulation) - not the A/C

No the fan that runs inside isn't the same as the outside ones. The fan that stays on during charging is the main engine fan the big one center of the car . Then is another fan that is located behind the bumper right side that air intake is that diamond shape cut out in the front bumper . The fan is actually behind the low temp radiator . If you look into the cut out you can see it if you look in the wheel well you can seethe fan .
Turn OFF the climate control a few seconds before shutting the car down and the fans will shut down and stay off while charging.
