Very Cool. A bit too far out of my area to join the fun, but we should get this going in Western Washington.
I would be interested in joining.P90XMC2 said:Found this on the Tesla forums today, any Fisker Owners joining?

"Can we count on the Fisker owners group to host a meet up in Cupertino on the 23rd of September? Electric Auto Association Silicon Valley will be having our 40th EV Rally + National Plug In Day @ De Anza College. We'll have plenty of space and are inviting all of the EV owners groups to join in and invite their friends.
We have plenty of space and will have test drives of many of the latest EV arrivals to choose from.

Isn't every game supposed to be fan appreciation day?siliconkiwi said:No, I have Giants tickets that day and their playing too well to not go (and it's fan appreciation day).
UPDATE: I just sent in the registration material and am definitely going to attend. It would be great to have other Fisker owners there to show the flag and help explain the car to the other attendees. I have even created a poster to put on the car to explain the drive system (see attached). Hope to see other Fisker owners there.Fabulist said:I am considering going. @SiliconKiwi, you plan to attend?siliconkiwi said:I was sent an email from the organizer, comment here if you're interested in going.

That would depend on the EV Scooter.P90XMC2 said:That's great guys, I'll be coming these with my EV scooter, any trades?![]()
Well that sounds like a good reason to skip the event. Luckily @Dennis and I will be attending to fly the Fisker flag.marswill said:I would really like to attend this function but unfortunately I need to spend the day preparing my home for a 7.5kW Solar Panel installation on October 1st. Of course this will be used to fuel my Karma as well as help power my home.
He's the one giving rides, so I have a feeling no one will complain if he shows up in the McLarensiliconkiwi said:Thanks for representing us Fab and Dennis, just make sure Dennis brings the right car along that day!
It went pretty well. Lots of different production and home-made EVs and Hybrids. Dennis was very popular since he was giving rides. I got to drive a new Toyota RAV 4 EV with the Tesla-designed power train, which was pretty impressive. Here are links to panoramic shots I made during the event:marswill said:Hi Fab and Dennis. How did it go at the EV rally? Pictures please.
Too bad we did not get a chance to meet in person. Dennis left a bit earlier but I was there until 3:45. Each time I tried to leave, a couple of more people would walk up and wanted to talk about the car, so I stayed and talked to them. I drove the new RAV 4E and liked it a lot. Someone was giving rides in their personal Tesla S, but the line for that was way too long. It was a great event overall.doug said:Nice pics, Fab.
I got there about 1pm and it was nice that there wasn't much of a crowd at all. I've gone to the EV rally in Palo Alto a few times and there's typically a long wait to get a ride. But here I was able to test drive several cars with no wait at all.
I saw the Karma when I got there, but by the time I thought to go take a look, it had gone.
At the event I drove the Toyota RAV 4, Mitsubishi iMiEV, the Ford Focus EV, Honda Fit EV.
