A number of reviews of the Karma criticized "excessive engine noise" that occurred in sport mode when the turbocharged direct-injection, 2.0-liter GM Ecotec engine fired up and exhausted under the driver side door. Fisker "promised" to correct the problem by replacing the muffler in the pre-production models with something more noise dampening. Has anyone heard whether that's been done and whether the production models will have a better muffler?
