Just posted on the official Karma owners forum that Elite Motors OC is no longer a CSP and Euro Cars in Costa Mesa is no longer taking appointments.
Feeling like the old days...........

That's very sad news.. He is one of few who really know how to fix the car..great customer service .. Always go the extra mile for the customers ..

what ever the reason ..its bad timing there is new software update ..extended warranty .. My experience with other 2 CSP not pleasant .. This mean long wait ..undelivered promises .. Sound old Fisker over again

I agree with the other comments about Alex and Elite Motors. Alex is a excellent Fisker Karma mechanic and just a nice guy who is always there to help. I just wish he would be there to install the 530 software. At this point I don't know where or when I will be able to have the new software installed. Any rumors of any new CPS providers coming to Southern California? Good luck Alex....I will miss you!

i agree ..alex one of the few CSP providers with exceptional customer service and tremendous experience with the car , he answer his phone even after hours ,, wont hesitate to give you right advise.. other CSP take long time just to return the call then another wait to get the right answer..

this relay sad :(there is over 300 car in California with new software and warranty etc.. ,, 2 unreliable CSP provider .. this mean long wait time

is there is any way we can sign petition to the new fisker :( to keep alex for extra time

You would think in KA's own HQ backyard that they would want strong local support - maybe they have something in mind and that's why the OC CSP is no longer... Just theorizing...

This is very odd indeed. Alex has provided excellent service for me. Appointments for Eurocar are booked 2-3 months in advance, and they have absolutely no feedback on either KA or Buzz forums. I heard some scuttlebutt that Eurocar was taking some Karma's to Alex for certain jobs. It is mind-blowing that there is only one CSP in the Southern California area.

Karmanews posted they will have a CSP "near OC" in the "coming weeks". This is so aggravating and seems like we are back to the old Fisker days. Reminds me of the promised software update before Fisker went under.

After months of things just getting better & better (try an remember the situation a year ago) ... having one setback in one (albeit, major metropolitan) place seems a little thin to be making blanket theories about.

I recognize Alex Pop had a stellar reputation. But, do we even know who broke up with who?

I caution against throwing blame around without actually knowing any of the facts.

I think the major concern is two CSP's are suddenly gone. Going thru this multiple times does not inspire confidence.

Hmmm. Didn't notice that the original message said 2 different places (read it too fast). Are they related in some way?

BTW - I'm not trying to say anybody is wrong. Just trying to keep things as positive as possible.

This is definitely bullshitty. At the Karma event at Petersen they spoke of multiple SoCal CSP, even one in LA. Now, do they not only x out Alex, who did a great job, they authorize one that you can't even get in. Old Karma, new Karma. If it walks like a duck... Wouldn't be surprised if Henrik and his cronies were lurking about. I'm done. Anyone want to buy a pristine Deep Ocean, tri color interior with low mileage for $50k? I'll pay for shipping

Hello Fiske Karma Owners,

As you may have learned form the Karma Automotive website, Elite Motors OC it is no longer a "Approved" customer support center. Reason? To be honest I don't know the real reason.

Despide all that, we will still continue to service all Fisker Karma vehicles and we will do our best to keep your vehicles up and running as good as possible. If you have any questions about why all this is happening, please address the questions to KA customer support.

Also as of right now, Elite Motors OC it is not part of the extended warranty program that KA is offering.

Also on the official KA Forum and Fisker Buzz Forum, there are discussions open in regards with this issue. Please feel free to comment.

I don't have any inside knowledge of what the executives at Karma are thinking, but my guess is that they got more negative reports about Alex than positive ones. Again, I am not professing to know; it is just my guess. I know that my own experience with Alex was not good. That is not to say that he is not a good guy. I am sure he is, but the service I got from him sucked.

Let's face it, Alex at Elite Motirs is the only game in Southern California to repair or service our Fiskers. Alex has always been honest, fair and stood by his work on the work on my Fisker. To understand the decision of the new Fisker to deauthirize Elite Motors, you need to understand the Chinese which I don't. My relationship and loyalty is to Elite and not to the new Fisker. They don't do anything for me. Alex helps me every time I call him with a question or a problem.
