I don't put gas in my Karma very often and a friend was warning me that I might need to use some sort of additive to prevent the gasoline from going bad.
Has anyone heard anything about this?

Thanks.

Yes, in theory at least, gas will "go bad" (separate into various components, really) if stored for long periods (3 months or more).

I have not used this stuff but it's supposed to work:

Sta-Bil

Edit: the Karma computer seems to run the gasoline engine about once a week, maybe that's to avoid gas separation issues. Anyone know for sure?
