Michael, when I ordered in January 2008 I had to put $1000 down (€650). That made sense at that time, so early in the whole development process. Two years later they raised the deposit for new reservations to $5000. I don't know what the deposit is at the moment if you place an order at the dealer and have just 3-4 months of waiting. I waited for 4 years. How much money is your dealer asking?

My local dealer took $10,000 deposit from me (March 14th, 2012)
Car will hit Newark port April 4th, 2012
