Well folks...I was about to get my car and decided to pass and wait at least a year. I have been waiting 4 years for this day, and it breaks my heart. Clearly the car is groundbreaking a truly drop dead gorgeous but it also seems to still be quirky and I just don't have the bandwidth to deal with that at this point. I applaud all of you for being the pioneers for the rest of us and I am the first to say I will be green with envy whenever I see a car on the road. I think waiting at least a year will allow the car and company to mature and I will have another look as I continue to expand my stable. Good luck to you all and I will be lurking in the background seeing how things are going. I also want to thank all of you for being such an awesome resource for me.

As much as I would love to see another Karma on the road, this appears to be a well thought out and logical decision. The Karma's rough edges will be smoothed out in time and you can make a decision based on what is, rather than what will be. In the meantime, the rest of us will keep debugging for you and many others like yourself who are waiting on the sidelines.

I expected a lot of rough edges and there certainly are around the software (esp the command center) but I haven't had a single issue driving the car i.e. getting from A to B has always worked smoothly.

It drives great and I haven't been been inconvenienced at all in that aspect.

Sorry to hear that you decided to pass on the car for the time being. I have had minimal issues with my car and look forward to every chance I get to drive it. Hope to hear that you went through with it in the near future.

Except for the CEL, I've had no problems on 6.14. With your stable, why not buy and drive and trade next year for a "more mature" Karma?

If your only exposure to the car is reading us gripe, then we have done you a grave disservice. Driving a Fisker has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. It looks spectacular, it's plenty fast and most important, every time you plug it in you have this feeling of sticking it to the man! It changes driving to work to yelling screw you Chavez and shove it OPEC. What could be better than that? Now get your butt off the couch and go man up and get that car! Who cares about a stupid Check Engine Light. We have a revolution to start.

Agreed-- for it's minor quirks it's not worth passing on. Mine has been virtually trouble free since 614 update...hopefully even better today after the 615 update.
I 2nd Kwsmith007...I LOVE this car in so many ways!

My wife's Lincoln 2011 MKX almost went back to the dealer I was so frustrated with the first version of the MY Touch software (CONSTANT re-booting!!). While Ford did address it weeks later and paid my 1st loan payment, they were not nearly as responsive as Fisker has been. Fisker is not the only one dealing with issues with all this new technology we demand.

If anything take heart in the fact that our (Karma owners) confidence in the Karma and the company has a whole has become much better in the past months and customer service and dealer service has been spectacular!
