I had a glitch the other day when my daughter connected her Iphone5.
The nav screen sort of reset it selves but suddenly had a daylight screen.
Normally I only get the darker night screen. Has anyone else seen the daykight screen before? See the two versions below.

Ever since I upgraded to 510 I've had black-on-white during the day and white-on-black at night...nice improvement!

Just the NAV screen or everywhere? Mine does not change. Did you have to set a particular setting? :s
It was in the release notes. Didn't you get them? :dodgy:

And where do you see that in the release notes?

Did you get a custom copy? :dodgy:
If it is a feature then it obviously does not work in my Fisker @ 510.
Or did I miss a setting somewhere?

I must have been dreaming...
I also had this issue... But treated it as on of the common errors :-/
For some reason it resolved magically.

I didn't change any setting. Just started happening after I left the dealer with 510 installed...

I have had 510 for about a month and mine stays the same regardless of the ambient lighting. My headlights come on when they are supposed to so the light sensor is working.

Does the entire dash change over or just the Nav/Command Screen? You must have the paid-for version of 510 and I have the free version. :D Or maybe there is a second sensor that is not working.
Who else has a day and night screen on the NAV ?
Fab - just the Command Center changes, not the dash. I had the car in for service over Thanksgiving; sounds like it was later than you. Maybe I got the Service Pack upgrade??
still dark screen

Who else has a day and night screen on the NAV ?
I know this is an old discussion but I am still driving in the Netherlands with our 2013 Karma ( 19900 KM) with a very dark nav screen.
I have asked Kroymans specifically to look at it during regular service in November 2014but nothing has changed. Software must be up to date (VIN 2575) I did not bother too much since I was using a € 100 Tom Tom device but if others have managed to get it done I should like to see "the daylight " too
Another issue: the maximum KM /liter I get on the screen is 172 .... That number should have been in the hundreds by now. Anyone ?
How exactly do software changes get installed? And, is anybody still working on any updates? I assume the GPS will get out of date over time if nothing else. (Don't suppose they made it simple enough to download something online to a jump drive and plug it into the USB port? )

Software updates are done using the Fisker scan tool and also the USB port in the center console . The usb is used to update the CIU only and no you can't do it yourself sorry and yes Fisker is working on updated software .
