Why would fisker use clear plastic for bits of the console that you cannot even access. it scratches so easily and then looks terrible.

When I had my Karma wrapped, I also had the clear bits of the interior wrapped. Try it, you'll like it.

What color did you wrap your Karma?

I think the clear panel at least in the front is so that you can see the charge status of the battery as it has a green line that goes down it for a second. You could see if there is a break in the battery connections or a bad battery I assume.
