Chevrolet recently revealed some very interesting information about how the Volt drivetrain functions.

Chevrolet states that it needed to wait until its patents were secure before divulging this information. Given Fisker's reluctance to divulge Karma technical specifications over patent reservations as well, it makes you wonder if any of the intelligent innovations featured in Volt will make their way to the Karma in some form.

Very interesting reading below:

That is a bit disappointing. The gas engine of the Volt kicks in sooner than expected, and also at high speeds and during fast acceleration. It's a much more fluid situation. Fisker seems to have separated the two more clearly (with stealth mode and sport mode).
