The dash shows an icon of an electric plug when you open a door and then the level comes on. If the door is closed there are no lights or gauges on.
Charging question/problem
OK, so here's a question for all of you Karma owners. Is the plug light on the dash supposed to be illuminated when you're charging?
When I plug in to a regular 110 outlet, the included charger progresses (the top lights sequence) so I assume its charging. However, its only when I lock the car do I see the plug light on....and the PRNDL. After a few moments, the PRNDL and plug light go off and the charger's lights also stop sequencing. If I unplug the charger from the car and then replug it (all the while, its plugged into outlet), it starts sequencing again but no dash plug light comes on. Any ideas?

My experience is the same: The dash plug light comes on for a while, then extinguishes when the computer shuts down, etc. Light is off until the door is opened or key fob is pressed, but the car is charging.
