does anyone have model numbers of brembo carbon ceramic rotors that would be direct replacements for the current rotors?

this car definitely needs more performance. and reducing weight will increase performance

Ceramic rotors do not generate the heat and therefore may elimate the regenerative breaking feature of your Karma.

heat does not have a factor in regeneration..

Any permanent magnet motor can operate as either a motor or generator.
its the rotation of the motor's that regenerate electricity back to the battery.

You are right.
And I assume, adding connection to 1-n coils will give you regeneration in several steps like briefly pressing the pedal for breaking or selecting H1 & H2...
The deceleration in this scenario comes from the counter current of the motor (which plays the generator in that case...)
