Yesterday I drove to LA from my home in San Clemente and pulled into the parking lot at LA live (in front of the Staples Center). As I pulled in the parking garage, an attendant asked me if I wanted to charge the vehical and directed me 2 charging stations. These stations are operated by a company called "Blink" and require a "membership" (free) to operate. Once one "joins" a card is sent that is required to use the charging station with a charge of $1.50 per hour.

My question is if these 220V charging stations are safe for use in Karmas?

I hope so. I have been using their home charger for the last 5 months and have used their public chargers at Ikea.

You should be OK.

Sigurd and Fabulist...Thanks so much...Good to know...I joined today and can't wait for my card.[hr]
Do you know if you plug it in for 4 hours, but it stops charging after 3, do you still get charged for the 4 hours?

Not sure. I only use the free ones.

I've used a few Blink chargers, free and paid, without any difficulty. I'm not sure yet if I'm charged for the length of time I'm plugged in or for the amount of electricity if I get a full charge before I unplug.
