Back seat creaking sounds

I decided to start a new thread on this since there had been a discussion going on the other thread about this.

I hopped into my back seat and had a closer look. It seems the sound was not coming from the windows - it just seemed that way from the driver's seat. It seems that the creak and pop sounds are coming from the plastic panel behind the rear seats. It's pretty flimsy and doesn't take much to creak and pop.

I made a video:

Not sure how they're going to be able to fix that, but it's driving me NUTS! It's like Chinese water torture as you drive and you hear that from the back nonstop.

Wow - that's definitely a build quality issue. How has Fisker not addressed this? How could they have built 500+ cars without noticing such problem? I was watching an episode of Ultimate Factories on the Porsche Panamera which shows how Porsche regularly tests the Panamera on their track to make sure everything works.

I was unaware of the back seat creaking problem until seeing these posts. Doesn't happen in my Karma. How about the rest of you who have cars?

Brian, is there any chance your car was built on the Monday following a dreary weekend in Finland? Too much vodka consumption by the factory workers might explain your bad fortune. ;)

More like a Friday at 4:50pm right before everyone left for the weekend. They alway say that you should never buy a car built on a Friday!

I'm not 100% certain that this creaking in the video is the culprit of what I'm hearing, but I'd give it an 80% chance. When driving it's much more subtle and softer than the sounds heard when I push directly on the panel. But it's close enough, and it's easy enough to cause it to creak that I'd give it good odds.

They also say to not buy cars built on a Monday because all the employees are hung-over from the weekend. :)
this is the same i heard from a eco chic testdrive 3 months ago and i asked the dealer about it. said it was just temporaily. I guess not
can the sound has anything with the speakers? i am planning on buying the standard version and i dont think it has the woofer and speakers in the back
That's an original way to look at it Michael. You also won't have problems with the navigation, the rear view camera and the special paints. :D
exactly, i save a lot of trouble:) but i want the shadow colour:)
I am afraid Shadow is not available with EcoStandard. The only colours you can choose with EcoStandard are Eclipse (black) and White Sand (white)
unfortunately so its the sport or black in standard, or the new audi s5 for me
And the "creak option" is also not available in the Eco Standard :)
My wife works at a BMW dealership, and she says the one complaint that the techs dread is squeaks and rattles, because they are so time consuming to trace and fix.

Sometimes you can fix this type of thing by replacing fasteners, but believe it or not we sell a product by 3M called Squeak Reduction Tape that you put in between offending panels. Or sometimes you can fix it with an application of silicone spray.

Of course, I haven't actually heard the noise, my computer at work has no audio!

Can you repost the Youtube link as it is no longer there.

Did you find a solution to the squeaking noise?
Please repost the youtube video. I recently had a squeaking sound from the back seat and Joe (fiskerphilly) attributed it to the rear shocks. If you repost the video- I can confirm that it is the same sound.

I'm not sure but I think @brian sold his Fisker and may not post here anymore.
