That's a game changer. Wow!
Please contact me not sure where you got you information from but as a Dealer and I've contacted them they no longer have any batteries .Even when they had batteries they were close to $21K .yep , look like every thing on track .. will see what next ..
I wouldn't mind getting 6K per module :idea:I'm also quite skeptical. 6k is well below Fisker's cost of the batteries as well. Perhaps that's the price for a single module?
Without any independent knowledge of the situation, this sounds one sounds a whole lot more plausible. I am guessing they use the same module for a lot of other batteries, so they are continuing to make the modules and it is a lot more economically, and environmentally, sensible to repair the batteries in situ as opposed to making new batteries and swapping them.I'm sorry I think the sales guy got wrong info
..
No new battery that is correct
But b456 they did email their service manger they are offering rebuilding the battery on site for 4k.

At least that if not more and that doesn't include the removal and installation of the battery . That cost might only cover one Module replacement plus as of before I don't think any new modules are available .The only fix right now is replacing the module with another used module that isn't failing .I'm sorry I think the sales guy got wrong info

At one point we were going to be trained to service the HV battery that never happened do to the risk one slip and your dead . Before the closing of Fisker and A123 Fisker used a engineer from A123 to do on site repairs I was lucky enough to work with him that's how I learned to service the battery . I stay in touch with him and his guided me though some repairs . The only modules available are used ones that come from batteries that have failed and were never shipped back to A123 . In order to use a used module you need to know what modules failed on the used battery .Without any independent knowledge of the situation, this sounds one sounds a whole lot more plausible. If true, this is very good news.

That's a very good point. I would think a B456 - trained tech would have the proper diagnostic tools and experience to correctly identify the failed module and then replace it with a new one.At one point we were going to be trained to service the HV battery that never happened do to the risk one slip and your dead . Not even sure they have any new or old modules they haven't answered any of my emails yet .Is B456 just replacing known failed modules with the same modules? Or are these updated modules?
this service offered by fisker silicon valley call themFiscali: can you post or PM me the contact information of whoever provided this information to you?
To clarify, you retracted the original statement that new batteries are available for under $6000 (which would have been impossible), but you still say that A123 will fix a battery for $4K - am I getting that right?
I'd like to track down the source of this "too good to be true" information (I say that because a 15-module battery costs over $20K, not to mention labor), because it's critically important to the community. Don't leave us hanging: if your contact has an email from A123 or B456, let's track it down and call to confirm.
