I just picked up my Karma today and love it. One issue popped up though, My wife and I went to restaurant for quick bite. Every booted up ok and we drove off, but the audio warning beep kept sounding with no visual warning lights indicating a problem. I pulled over and turned off the car, walked away with the key for a few minutes(as i've seen before on here)and came back...still the same issue......any ideas?

I had it once (it was the warning beep from the park assist that kept going while driving without any obstacles in sight). It should go away if you let the car go to sleep (the PRND-light goes off). This takes a few minutes, and maybe you came back a tad too early.

I have this all the time. It usually happens after switching to sport mode, not always. If you pay attention, the coolant overheat warning light may flash for less than one second. I will bring this up to the dealers attention next visit. Please let me know if you have any information regarding that.

As far as the low oil pressure light coming on that should be fixed in software 615 it's a timing issue when the engine starts up or shuts off it sends that signal to the DIS faster then the signal can be processed . Also the park distance alarm can still sound if you go from reverse to drive to fast or drive to reverse best way to avoid this is make sure the car is completely stop before switching gears .

I've had my parking warning sound keep going off after leaving my garage. One trick I learned was to make a call on your phone via the bluetooth through the car. This seems to 'trick' the system into turning off the warning sound. Otherwise you need to stop and wait for your car to go to sleep.

I have found when I back into my shipping dock at work , if the sensors are going off when I park the car it seems to cause an issue. Either with the tone getting stuck on or killing the volume on the radio. So far pulling away from the object causing the sensors to trip then putting the car to sleep and restarting fixes it.

Front sensors seem to work fine, in fact too good at times...the other day they were going off as traffic was passing in front of me at a light.

I usually back into spots because I know the rear sensors work, has anyone confirmed that the front park sensors work or not?
The front sensors do not respond until you put your car in reverse. So when I pull into a garage, I stop, put the car in R, then put it back in D and start pulling in and the front sensors work perfectly. I don't know if this is Hill mode related because by putting it in R and back in D I am turning off Hill mode. Regardless, they always work for me as long as I go into R first.

Disconnect negative cable underhood on top of right hand strut tower for 30 seconds than reconnect it. wait untill driver selector unit aka prndl goes to slip in about 2 munites. this will reboot electronic systems. everything should work. when you rebooted windows needs to be indexed by holding each window switch 5 seconds after window is down position

This is not my experience. My front sensors work just fine without having to toggle any PRND changes. I've never tried it in hill mode, however, as I don't tend to use Hill mode as I near a destination.

It is because of Hill mode. My new procedure is to de-select Hill mode as I am approaching my garage. Then the front sensors work fine.

Hopefully this will be addressed in 6.15 since it is such an obvious problem.

You are correct. I switched off Hill mode when I pulled into my garage this weekend and the front sensors started working. My old procedure of switching into R first worked because it was turning off Hill mode but this is a lot easier. There does not seem much logic to this, so I can only assume it is a bug.
