On Facebook I saw a series of pictures of the demo car that Fisker of Cleveland has received just now. One of the pictures of this Eco Chic-version showed this sheet with mandatory (?) delivery information. Although it's not focussed it is possible to make out most of what it says. Some things that stand out for me:

- Percentage of US and Canadian parts: 50%
- Country of origin for the transmission: Mexico!
- Vehicle has not yet been rated by the government for crashes

Anything else new?

Total vehicle price $112,850 plus tax, registration & clearbra. Ouch!
It's nice to see that the Karma scores a perfect 10 on the Fuel Economy and Greenhouse emissions scale. The smog rating of 5/10, however is a bit surprising.

Annoyingly, but not surprisingly, the EPA has not yet posted any information about the Karma on the EPA's fueleconomy.gov website. That could provide some additional information beyond what is on the sticker.

Some nice to have little things I didn't know:

1) Front Seats have a memory function
2) Front and Rear seats are heated
3) Voice activated navigation

Also, I find this comment interesting: "This vehicle has not been rated by the government for frontal crash, side crash or rollover risk" Source: NHTSA

As I understand it, NHTSA buys a car off a lot and does their own tests on it to keep the test as objective as possible. It's going to be a while before they can actually buy one and test it. So this is not particularly unusual. It would also be an absolute shame to wreck a car this beautiful but I guess they do what they have to do.

65 kWh per 100 miles EV mode.
5.1 gallons per 100 miles gas mode.

not great.
"not great."

Yeah, but it weighs 5,300 lbs; imagine how solid and steady the ride is! It's like a low-slung sporty looking Hummer!
