The statement about not having to make any sacrifices if you can afford a $100K car is pretty crass, and actually not true. Compared to other $100K cars, the Fisker's performance is pretty tame, to say the least and there are a lot of neat gadgets on cars of that price range that are lacking in a Fisker (adaptive cruise control, Heads-Up display, Panic Braking assist, availability for purchase, etc.). Calling it a sacrifice is overstating it, but we are choosing between Fisker's vision of a responsible car and a faster, better equipped conventional car for the same price. It gets a bit annoying to be told that we are getting the perfect car -- we are not, because there is no such thing. Let's keep things in prospective here.

I have been told that it does have Homelink, integrated into the driver's rear view mirror. If that's not correct, I'll be very unhappy.brian said:Heck, I'm still trying to confirm if the car even has HomeLink or not. It's not listed in the options list, and if it's missing I'd say it's a pretty major omission.

Good idea - my test drive is in a week!!! We should start a separate thread on things to look for and I can report back shortly thereafter.Soflauthor said:I have been told that it does have Homelink, integrated into the driver's rear view mirror. My test drive is scheduled for Sept 1st. I'm thinking about developing a written list of things to look for, just so I don't forget anything. In fact, might not be a bad idea to develop it here. I'll start a new thread![]()
I started the thread, "Test Drive Checklist - Need Ideas." Pls. contribute questions.SoCalGuy said:Soflauthor said:I have been told that it does have Homelink, integrated into the driver's rear view mirror.
